When one asks, “what would love do?” It might be a good idea to recognize real love is without agenda; it’s not about personal gain or chasing after money, power, attention, experience, romance or fame…it’s about something more pure…
It occurred to me that Rumi’s beloved might not be drunk with wine at all, but perhaps drunk with sorrow, or fear, or anger, or any other strong passionate feeling that reveals the shadowy side of who we are.
Once you discover, uncover that one sacred place within your being that was wounded…its time to re-cover. The Universe will keep bringing the same pattern to our doorstep until we respond differently with that pattern rather than engaging it with “hope” in our hearts.
To return to Authentic Self…I summon Courage, Clarity, Wisdom and Truth. Therein I find peace, love, joy, comfort and compassion for myself, and all that is. I lay aside any need to manipulate what is, with true knowledge and faith, that what I need comes effortlessly to me.
